ABOUT THE ARTIST

​Alfred S. Regnery

Al Regnery is a retired attorney, book publisher, author, and government official, living in Little Washington, Virginia.  He is a self-taught amateur woodworker and furniture maker, and has made tables, bedsteads, corner cupboards, sideboards, lowboys, and now specializes in making chairs. His work is largely by hand, aided by some woodworking machines, and his medium is Virginia hardwood.
